Tiger Safari in India’s Corbett National Park

We took an adventurous babymoon: tiger safari in Northern India, Jim Corbett Park to be exact. This park is 5-6 hours drive from New Delhi. We alternated staying at the lovely Jim’s Jungle Retreat & staying in park overnight in rustic forest rest houses.

Weather could be bit chilly at night & in early mornings!

Tracking tigers is no easy feat! They don’t have dens like lions! They like to move around & so you must track them naturally via their droppings, paw/pugmarks & the distress calls they induce in monkeys & deer!

The first few days were frustrating–only tiger signs but no actual sightings for us! We did see great deer, elephants & birds though!
