Fung-Tu is a newish restaurant in Lower East Side/Chinatown area. But it is no ordinary restaurant!! The chef is an alum of Per Se—one of the top michelin 3 starred restaurants in NYC!!
I was eager to try everything there! We opted not to do the tasting menu because I wanted the brussel sprout rice so badly & it wasn’t part of tasting menu.
We had the pork belly egg rolls, brussel sprout/brisket/pomegranate fried rice, duck stuffed dates,
Braised beef cheeks, duck with couscous & peanut butter chocolate sesame balls!
