Taste of Tribeca 2016

Taste of Tribeca is an outdoor food festival that happens once a year.  No big deal–you say—food festivals happen all the time in NYC–right?  This one involves only Tribeca restaurants including some really upscale ones that normally never have outdoors food trucks or food stands like Jungsik, Marc Forgione, Bouley & Little Park. Also it benefits two public Tribeca schools–PS 150 & PS 234. The cost was $45 per ticket in advance  or $55 if you’re a procrastinator and buy tickets on the day of the event.

One ticket gets you 6 portions of food, one non alcoholic drink & two beer or hard cider samples at some nearby bars. The hard part is choosing only 6 portions when there are over 50 restaurants/bars/bakeries participating. Best bet is to go with a friend to try everything!
